Business Process Automation Developer
Description
The Business Process Automation Developer (Assoc Analyst, Apps Dev) position is focused on delivering business value quickly by automating manual and repetitive tasks. This developer will have the opportunity to implement, design, develop and maintain automation using RPA solutions, Reflections, and scripting languages such as VBA, Python, and PowerShell. Experience with client-side script development and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) are preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Code specific portions of projects
- Perform maintenance on existing programs
- Assist in supporting small applications
- Manage small projects from analysis through implementation with minimal direction
- Maintain appropriate documentation
- Pursue formal and informal educational opportunities to expand knowledge and improve skills
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION:
- A bachelor’s degree in related field.
- A combination of post-high school education, job related certification and related experience equivalent to 3 years may be considered in lieu of a degree.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION:
- Related work experience desired
- Training in technical language/databases preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Good verbal communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Good customer service skills
- Aptitude to learn quickly
- Ability to deal with multiple priorities and tasks
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Familiarity with basic object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience working with relational databases, including SQL scripting
- Basic knowledge of information security
- Working knowledge of the FirstBank change control process
- Good understanding of the different phases of the FirstBank development methodology, including requirements, design, coding, testing and implementation
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work is performed in an office environment with moderate noise levels and light to heavy traffic. An individual in this position:
- Frequently remains stationary throughout a typical business day
- Frequently operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other rooms
- Occasionally positions self to access drawers and shelves of various heights
- Frequently reaches for and handles paperwork and files
- Constantly communicates with customers, coworkers, and management in-person and on the phone
- Must be able to exchange accurate information
