WHAT YOU WILL OWN
The Business Intelligence QA Analyst advocates for all data in the organization; monitors report quality and take steps to improve it where necessary; designs and implements appropriate testing framework to achieve an exemplary level of reliability and accuracy in the business reporting against the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

• Both quality and delivery focused; ability to deliver challenging technical tasks with aggressive deadlines while maintaining total accuracy
• Develop active real-time monitoring processes for data quality throughout the Data Warehouse to Reporting processes
• Work with the Data Warehouse and Reporting team and key stakeholders to catalogue defects and manage their resolution
• Maintain a close working relationship with and support the technical leadership of the Reporting and Insights Designer
• Being an experienced testing strategist and practitioner; ability to establish the necessary testing, monitoring and controls driven by specific need rather than past standard and precedents
• Awareness of data warehouse design and dimensional modeling techniques such that you can identify test cases from the data warehouse design without specific requirements documentation
• A strong commitment to proactively test and QA all deliverables and to ongoing monitoring throughout the deliverables' operational life

SKILLS WE SEEK

• 2-4 years of experience working in quality assurance, system testing and/or development role required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field preferred
• Experience of writing highly complex SQL queries - capable of constructing the most complex SQL statements to implement test cases
• Extensive knowledge of testing techniques, tools, and strategies
• Ability to apply testing skills and experience in new and imaginative ways
• Must have previous experience of SSIS and ideally SSAS/SSRS
• A good background in data warehousing and ETL development of equal importance to technical skills
• Casino and/or Sportsbook industry experience is a strong plus
• Previous experience with Data Warehouse and/or Reporting testing desirable
• Experience with reporting & visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SSRS
• Experience working with State and/or Regulatory bodies desirable
• Working knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse processes
• Experience using project management and documentation tools. JIRA and Confluence preferred
