Business Intelligence Analyst:

OrthoFi is looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst with a passion for creating insights and identifying opportunities through analysis, data analytics, dashboards and reports. We are expanding our Data & Analytics team in 2021. You will have the opportunity to create impactful analyses for our internal stakeholders and clients.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will interact daily with OrthoFi’s Data & Analytics team members, internal stakeholders and occasionally with clients to gather data to define and develop solutions that provide insights. You will collaborate with other team members to help build a data-driven culture of insight to opportunities and well-informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational reporting needs including the identification of business problems, service levels and KPIs
• Participate in voice of customer meetings with clients to understand and identify and drive analytics that will help grow their businesses
• Design and develop analytics, processes, interactive visualizations, dashboards and reports that create business insights and clearly communicate data and trends
• Develop complex SQL queries to obtain data for analysis from our source systems
• Perform data validation and quality assurance of dashboards, reports and metrics
• Ad hoc analysis for all departments at OrthoFi

Technical Skills:

• Strong, demonstrated SQL experience for report creation
• Experience with Tableau required
• Knowledge or Exposure to Git/Github, Snowflake, Salesforce and AWS a plus

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and strict deadlines while incorporating work style with team objectives
• Actively informs management of sub-optimal practices wherever observed and takes action to correct issues
• Strong business-facing skills to gather and synthesize requirements, recommend solutions and build relationships with our stakeholders
• Experience performing data validation and quality assurance of dashboards, reports and metrics
• Ability to communicate complex technical and data concepts to less technical audiences
• Agile / Scrum experience

Salary range: $70,000-$80,000/year
