THE ROLE: 

Rightway is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is able to support and standardize our BI solutions (Tableau and Metabase), as well as partnering with our business to create meaningful business analytics. The ideal candidate will focus on long term analytics to support strategy and operational efficiency, as well as the automation of our current BI solutions. An ability to work with data pipelines, partner with the data engineering team, work with complex queries and deliver actionable visualizations is a must for this role. Experience working with healthcare data like medical claims, eligibility and  pharmacy claims is a bonus but not required. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Support Rightway’s existing business intelligence solutions
  • Create new dashboards and reports using visualization tools including Tableau and Metabase
  • Write SQL queries that combine data from multiple sources
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across the organization to educate other departments about Rightway’s data
  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Operations teams to improve data collection and develop novel business intelligence solutions
  • Gather business requirements to identify business intelligence solutions and delivering them to the management and executives for implementation
  • Generate documentation referencing the design and usage of Rightway’s business intelligence solutions
  • Proactively identify BI opportunities for streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency 
  • Create operational, financial and clinical data reports for review by executives, managers, clients, and external stakeholders

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Expert in Tableau 
  • Expert in SQL
  • Experience using DBT is useful, but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create data models and understand database schemas
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail
  • Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically
  • Strong business analysis skills
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Established understanding of analytic business processes, healthcare or PBM industry experience is a plus
  • Ability to write Python is useful, but not required
  • Experience using Apache Airflow is useful, but not required
  • Familiarity with medical or pharmacy claims is useful, but not required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree preferred but not required
  • 2 or more years industry experience performing data analysis is required
  • Experience using Tableau in an industry setting is required
  • Healthcare or PBM experience is preferred but not required

SALARY RANGE: 

  • $95k-$120k
