In this role, you will contribute to the effectiveness of the Payment Product group by working with Product Managers and business partners to elicit and document user stories & business requirements while working closely with development and testing deliveries to ensure design meets business expectations. The position will have responsibility for both new and existing products and platforms and will ensure that Payments has best-in-class products and solutions providing the best possible customer experience, while achieving the success metrics. 

You will act as Product Owner in the agile process. Lead in-house teams using agile scrum methodology drafting overall product features, prioritizing delivery, authoring user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating with scrum team members to ensure product features are delivered according to the vision of the Product Manager or business owner. You will develop the details for product ideas from Product Management and uncovering complexity as you do so. You will be working with business stakeholders to document high level requirements and project success criteria in the BRD and obtain Stakeholder signoff.

The Business Analyst will work with UI/UX/Content teams to bring engaging user experiences to life, act as subject matter expert for Payments products and platforms, and work with Product Management and business partners to understand business process and proactively recommend solutions to key business issues. You will participate in collaborative workshops that include business partners, process owners, and subject matter experts in process discovery activities such as process identification and inventory, process assessment, process discovery and process analysis.

For this role you will need 3-5+ years of experience working as a liaison between the business and engineering teams to deliver market products. You will also need strong agile experience, strong business writing, and verbal communication skills, and extensive ability to interact with technical, business and operational experts to establish and meet common goals.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the Western Union Business Solutions divestiture announcement on August 4, 2021, recruitment efforts will continue for this position on behalf of Western Union. However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude. Annual base salary gross: $62,829-103,871. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
