Business Analyst
We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Information Systems team. A key to this role’s success will depend upon the candidate’s ability to maintain strong working relationships with our internal business partners which encompasses sales, marketing, finance, accounting, product development, support and customers external to OpenText. This position requires an analytical mindset, accuracy, attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
You will work with cross-functional teams and leverage proven standards within an agile framework to execute daily work activities. This role is based out of our Broomfield, CO office but will work with development and business staff world-wide.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support your team by working closely with customers, stakeholders, Product Owner and development teams.
- Participates in daily stand-up meetings (scrums), reviews, backlog groomings, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings.
- Shows initiative to learn new skills and applications and motivation to become a subject matter expert.
- Ability to work independently and a proven self-starter in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications
- Relevant business work experience
- Experience with Agile (Scrum) software development
- Possess an aptitude for technical projects and be able to “speak the language” to both developers and non-technical stakeholders alike.
- Basic SQL and Relational Database experience is a plus
- Ability to react to change productively and positively in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, proactive and able to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Excellent planning, organizational, time management and follow-through skills.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
