Job Description:
The Business Analyst (Functional) position provides guidance, recommendations, and structure for the RingCentral SMB Sales Operations Team. The individual is chiefly responsible for the management of integrated and strategic work structures with the goal of maintaining business continuity in an operationally efficient manner.

- Professional and Technical Knowledge: Understanding and utilizing policies, procedures, technology, regulations, stakeholder interests, as well as economic, and industry data to accurately diagnose and identify key issues when developing strategies and plans
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the business to develop an understanding of business processes and assess end user needs
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements
- Assess existing systems and employee workflows for efficiency and quality gains
- Design, develop, and maintain key business structures within RingCentral's systems with the collaboration of IT
- Collaborate with IT and utilize knowledge of business process to provide effective data analysis
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements
- Develop and monitor audit criteria
- Maintain documentation of assigned products and procedures
- All other Duties as Assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Salesfcom experience required
- Basic SQL skills preferred
- Experience working with a variety of data structures and dataset types
- Must have extremely strong verbal and written communications skills, strong computer (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, etc.) as well as presentation and customer facing experience.
