Good Buy Gear is the leading online marketplace for quality checked, secondhand and open box baby, toddler and kid gear. We are fundamentally changing the way people buy and sell baby and kid gear gear — a multi-billion dollar industry. We’ve created a supply chain that previously didn’t exist for secondhand or open box with partnerships with the biggest retailers in the country and a growing footprint of families across the country.
We are giving second hand shopping the legitimacy and convenience it deserves to become a modern-day movement. Today’s parents value sustainability, convenience, and reuse more than ever, but the category demands a trusted verification partner. The Real Real, GOAT, ThredUp are billion dollar companies in luxury, shoes and fashion verticals. Baby/Kid gear is the last vertical to be disrupted to enable the circular economy - reducing impact on the planet and unlocking economic value for consumers, retailers and brands alike.
We’ve developed custom IP, proprietary technology and an extensive product database, “the blue book of baby gear”, complete with pricing, variations, common issues and metadata about each product. This powers our buyer intelligence and machine learning in addition to enabling our workforce to consistently and efficiently post products and fulfill orders.
