The Opportunity
Mersive is a rapidly growing software company in downtown Denver that offers an award-winning wireless collaboration product suite that is transforming how teams work and learn in meeting spaces of all sizes. We’re seeking a Business Analyst to join our fast-paced company to help us scale our enterprise applications, including Salesforce.com, Hubspot, and Zendesk, in support of all of our customer-facing functions. This person will report to the Manager of Enterprise Applications and will be responsible for requirements collection, process mapping / compliance, basic systems administration, data cleansing, and basic reporting. This position requires a confident, self-directed worker who can learn quickly, work productively, juggle / prioritize multiple tasks, and collaborate well cross-functionally.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Listens, synthesizes, and writes accurate, concise requirements
- Translates complex information into concise, readable, unambiguous language and uses graphics as much as possible to encourage understanding
- Translates requirements into functional specifications and/or process diagrams
- Extracts, aggregates, and normalizes data from various sources
- Creates basic ad hoc and regularized reports
- Writes test cases and participates in testing
- Collaborates and communicates in self-directed fashion with cross-functional stakeholders in sales, marketing, service delivery, and customer support
- Demonstrates flexibility and versatility, adapting to different roles and working styles as called for by the team and project
- Clearly articulates the business context to the internal teams and technical concepts to business audiences
- Hands on get it done attitude. We are looking for someone who will roll up their sleeves and get things done
Qualifications
- Basic system administration skills for Salesforce.com and other applications (SalesForce certification is desirable)
- Prior experience ensuring data integrity / cleanliness in multiple systems
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to successfully analyze and document information workflows
- Cooperative attitude and flexible approach to a wide variety of situations
- Ability to work independently and self-prioritize tasks while keeping supervisor informed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
