About the role:
The Business Analyst is an active member of the project team throughout the TD PDLC phases of the project. The Business Analyst assists with project estimates, understands project requirements, assists with creation of Test Plan, Matrix and Scripts. Executes test scripts and analyzes output, reporting and documenting issues and defects to project team. May support client with their testing activities, including defect analysis\esearch. Keeps FIS Project Manager, Technical Lead and\\or Test Coordinator informed of the status of test efforts. Will provide support for applications by researching and answering client questions; may assist Production Support Team with incident research and resolution. Develops relationships with client to be available to answer questions, provide information and application support. Provide training as requested by client.
Accountable' - The person who is accountable for the deliverable (the person who makes sure the person(s) responsible completes the deliverable and is the last one to review the deliverable before it is deemed complete). The accountable person also ensures the communication occurs to all those listed as "Informed" on the deliverable and serves as the point of escalation if there are any issues with the deliverable.
'Responsible': The person responsible for the deliverable (person doing the work associated with the deliverable). OA Lead may delegate the work to a project team OA.
'Contributor' - The person(s) who will actively contribute to the deliverable (either as a participant in sessions, or by completing specific activities that contribute to the final deliverable).
About the team:
What you will be doing:
- Provide input to the Project Initiation estimates.
- Document changes that are outputs of new application release.
- Document changes that are outputs of customization project (Features & Functionality documents?
- Test scripts are updated/saved on SharePoint for future leveraging of test scripts.
- Assist with research and resolution of Production Support Team incidents.
- Assist with research and creation of application process improvements.
- Support TD Bank Core Bank Team/Line of Business/Operations (research, answer questions, engage Corporate, etc.)
- Provide mentorship as requested.
- Provides training (internal/external) on changes, new systems, new procedures, application knowledge, etc.
- Provide input to existing or new policies, procedures, guidelines and/or templates.
- Identifying strategies as well as improvement opportunities while also reengineering processes for greater efficiency.
- Selecting hardware, software and vendors.
- Conducting tests to ensure changes made by programmers are correct.
What you will need:• Knowledge of financial services industry and an understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles.• A bachelor's in computer science or information systems or equivalent experience - Master's degree is desirable.
