Associate Business Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY
As an Associate Business Analyst, you play an integral part in helping the Product team measure, interpret and experiment with new data sources and product features. You will own creating and updating coverage maps and other reports that help us to understand the coverage, data quality and holes in our products as well as the data of our partners. You will also assist in the data analysis needs for the Product Management team which entails troubleshooting transactions related to data input or output, analyzing new data integrations and data gaps. This is an entry-level position and no previous experience is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Product team, the Associate Business Analyst is expected to:
- Design and conduct experiments to understand our data coverage and gaps.
- Analyze and organize large volumes of data.
- Analyze the results produced to make inferences about sample sets.
- Make recommendations to Product Managers based on results.
- Work with the development to understand data to be used in product enhancements.
- Assist the quality assurance and support teams in troubleshooting data processing.
COMPENSATION
A compensation package composed of a base salary and equity component will be structured to attract a uniquely qualified candidate. Excellent health benefits are included.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a technical or business discipline. Experience in data analysis, testing or experimental design is a plus. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python or Java is a plus. Excellent analytical skills, especially synthesizing, dissecting and interpreting big data. Clear oral and written communication skills.
