Analytics Supervisor
90octane is a digital agency that specializes in Top Pursuit Marketing™. We help clients meet their revenue goals through the strategy, execution, measurement and optimization of targeted programs. We create everything a business may need to help it sell and grow – from brands to campaigns, website development, content marketing, online advertising, email marketing, search engine marketing and social media marketing.
We are looking for a full-time analytics supervisor who is passionate about using data to drive effective marketing efforts. They will be the proactive advocate for measurable marketing programs - designing custom dashboards; solving data problems as they arise; and working with teams to ensure metrics are gathered efficiently, analyzed accurately, and actually used to improve client programs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform analyses and audit client programs to generate relevant and actionable data-driven insights.
- Help identify trends within the data to drive change, innovation and optimizations within client programs.
- Oversee forecasting of performance, partnering closely with the team and tactical leads.
- Understand and interpret data, to drive decisions on media investments.
- Work with teams to pull out valuable reporting insights and develop clear and concise reports that will move programs forward.
- Lead dashboard projects through all stages of development, including concepting, data strategy, design and deployment.
- QA, test, troubleshoot and optimize Tableau dashboards to ensure accuracy, quality and functionality.
- Work with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors on data warehouse design and management.
- Serve as a mentor to tactical team members, and team leads as needed, by providing training, brainstorming and general advisement.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on analytics experience working in a consultative role.
- 2+ years of Google Analytics experience.
- Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms such as Google AdWords, DoubleClick, Facebook, Search Console, etc.
- Tag management experience.
- Possession of excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Methodical, organized, project management and triage skills with the ability to stay calm under tight deadlines or changing client needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot abstract problems, and think outside the box to find solutions.
- BS or BA in business, marketing, statistics, communications, computer science, or applicable experience.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Domo preferred.
- A working knowledge of data warehouses preferred.
