Analytics Specialist, Data Visualization
Description
Adswerve is seeking an individual to join the Platform Support team as an Analytics Specialist with a focus on Data Visualization and Analysis. This role will report to the Director of Analytics Support. Key responsibilities will include leading client projects in a specialty area, directly supporting select client projects, reviewing and approving work, establishing standards and best practices in their specialty area, and ensuring high quality work is delivered to clients. This individual will be expected to provide senior level guidance and support to the analyst team.
THIS ROLE
- Reports to the Director of Analytics Support
- Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more specialty areas
- Contribute as a dedicated support resource for select clients
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more specialty areas
- Establish and maintain best practice standards and processes in specialty area
- Be an internal advocate for sharing knowledge and leading trainings in specialty area
- Ensure project timelines are met and tasks are completed on schedule
- Guide execution of client deliverable tasks, including training team on how to accomplish new tasks, reviewing and approving work to ensure quality of client deliverables
- Serve as an internal escalation point for complex technical questions or issues with a focus on coaching the internal team to have a deeper understanding of the problem in order to provide the client with the best possible resolution.
- Participate in curation of documentation for prepared responses, knowledge base articles and other training materials
- Assist with training and development across teams by sharing product and industry knowledge
- Stay up to date on industry standards, trends and solutions in specialty area
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Direct experience managing large scale client projects
- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Advanced knowledge in analytics implementation solutions
- Expert proficiency in one or more specialty areas
- Data Visualization and Analysis
- 2+ years of proven Data Visualization experience combined with advanced analytical skills
- Expert proficiency in Tableau required, Data Studio desirable
- Experience with designing and developing dashboards and reports
- Excellent layout and design experience
- Ability to work with large data volumes and perform analysis
- Able to derive insights and tell stories with data
- Experience gathering and joining data from many different sources
- Experience with BigQuery or SQL to query complex databases preferred
- Experience training users to create and manage visualization reports
- Quality Assurance
- 3+ years of proven Quality Assurance experience combined with advanced analytics skills
- Expert proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging in one or more platforms (web, ios, android, or other connected devices)
- Expert proficiency in documentation of site features and issues
- Ability to define and implement quality control requirements and processes
- Ability to develop utility tools that will help streamline the QA process
- Optimization
- 2+ years of proven optimization experience combined with advanced analytical skills.
- Expert proficiency with Google Optimize, Optimizely, or similar
- Experience with implementing personalization tests and campaigns
- Experience with developing hypotheses and analyzing test outcomes
- Ability to identify areas of opportunity to improve conversions through usability enhancements
- Experience training users to create and manage optimization tests
- Tag Management
- Expert experience with GTM and proficiency in one or more additional tag management systems such as Tealium, Ensighten, Segment, or similar
- 3+ years of proven Tag Management experience combined with advanced analytical skills
- Create and maintain standard implementation guides and documents
- Ability to apply solutions from one tag management system to another
- Proficiency in debugging issues with implementation and configuration
- Experience training users to implement solutions in different tag management systems
- or other technical capability
- Outstanding project management, communication, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems
- A proactive customer service, solution-oriented attitude with impeccable attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in preferably Business or Marketing; and two years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of professional digital analytics experience, preferably in an agency setting
- Google Marketing Platform experience with subject matter expert level knowledge
- Experience with Asana, Salesforce or other similar systems a plus
