Position summary

The Analytics Associate will join our rapidly growing In Vitro Diagnostics Program and contribute key capabilities and expertise to Archer’s analytical efforts. With a focus on collaborative approaches to data operations, the Analytics Associate will play a critical role in the collection and analysis of Archer’s genomic and clinical data. This person will work closely with data scientists, biologists, and laboratory personnel to develop data infrastructure that is central to Archer’s platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scientists to help develop data infrastructure that enables the systematic collection of data associated with diagnostic assays
• Configure and maintain laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
• Contribute to data architecture design
• Train assay development scientists and laboratory personnel on data infrastructure systems
• Document data infrastructure systems and help with their testing and validation
• Recognize process improvement needs and collaborate with other personnel to address them

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in a relevant scientific or engineering field
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in a life sciences or biotech organizations
• Expertise with molecular biology laboratory processes including high-throughput sequencing
• Experience developing laboratory workflow processes
• Quantitative skills including an introductory-level knowledge of statistical methods
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with team members
• Highly motivated and ability to work independently
• Experience working with medical devices, diagnostics, and/or oncology assays (Desired)
