Do you want to play a role in Global Commerce?

As an Analyst on the Global Energy team, you will help drive results and growth in the energy segment of our Prologis Essentials business. You will be a part of a small, specialized team of energy-focused real estate professionals that lead value-add energy programs and facilitate their deployment.  We are accountable for global energy business plan results, and exploring new energy-related business lines. Solar is the largest vertical today, with 212 megawatts of solar operating on Prologis’ rooftops globally, and we expect material expansion from other energy technologies going forward.  This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Global Energy in Denver, CO.

What’s needed in order to do that:

• Work closely with program and project leads to deliver business plan results
• Own global tracking tools and forecasting for projects and programs
• Conduct investment due diligence, support project underwriting, and draft memos for Investment Committee and Executive Committee as needed
• Research and collect information on solar, storage, electric vehicle industries including policy, technology, incentive mechanisms, power market structures, contract types, etc.
• Conduct ad hoc data analysis to inform design of programs, products, services and strategies
• Support energy asset management by analyzing operational performance, making recommendations and coordinating their implementation
• Support sales and business development activities such as drafting customer presentations, proposals and contracts, as needed,
• Support negotiations with counter-parties and legal document preparation
• Maintain an adaptable, can-do attitude and drive efficiency and speed
• Other duties as assigned

• Overall, 2-5 years of professional experience.
• Experience in real estate and/or renewable energy is a plus.
• Clear grasp of financial concepts such as discounted cash flow, internal rate of return, etc. 
• Ability to learn and contribute quickly and be a team player in a small group with multiple people leading different initiatives (competing priorities) that need support.
• Can multi-task with close attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel conducting exploratory data analysis and financial modelling
• Willingness to travel as business needs dictate, potentially up to 10% of the time
