Better requires process discipline and simplification

We’ll be looking to you to provide technical and analytical support to our Global Rewards Leader responsible for the delivery of Western Union’s (WU) compensation programs. In this role, you will contribute to the rewards strategy through the support and delivery of best-in-class compensation programs for functions that support and enable WU to attract, motivate and retain the best talent as we continue to evolve our business to be the leader in cross-border money transfer.

Under the guidance of the Global Rewards Leader, you will participate in market competitive analysis of current compensation practices looking for opportunities to leverage innovative practices that align with the talent strategy with a focus on remaining locally competitive and relevant while retaining global principles. A key for this role is the ability to identify, analyze, and draw insights from various data sources to support HRBPs and business leaders in making informed and meaningful compensation decisions. You will also be an ambassador for our global employee recognition program.

For such a pivotal role, you’ll have a degree in HR, Business Administration, or a similar field and proven experience in compensation program support, including technical knowledge of key compensation fundamentals. You’ll bring to the table intermediate to advance knowledge of MS Office programs. Finally, you’ll be able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

The annual gross base salary range is $62,829.23 - $103,871.34.

This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident, and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
