As our Data Operations Analyst II, you will be responsible for managing the data ingestion process, from client delivery to system integration, in order to support new clients for R1. Every day, you will collaborate closely with client IT teams to obtain data files, ensure their accuracy, and import them into our applications. To thrive in this role, you must have experience in an analytical environment and possess exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and an inquisitive attitude.

Here’s what you will experience working as a Data Operations Analyst II:

  • Own complex client implementations from a data perspective - acquiring, importing, validating data and preparing proprietary systems and platforms ready for go-live.  

  • Manage the relationship between client IT to collaboratively work towards data that meets data specifications. 

  • Apply a deep understanding of healthcare data to solve problems for internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Data research and analysis – writing queries, analyzing results, identifying trends. 

  • Create reports around system performance (rules engine), client data trends and other business needs. 

  • Communicate/present research results to non-technical stakeholders (both internal and external). 

  • Serve as a technical mentor to Data Operation Analysts on the team. 

To be successful in this role, the candidate will have:

  • SQL (or similar) and SSIS mastery

  • Experience managing data pipelines

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and master new tools and processes

  • Ability to identify problems and ideate on how to improve/fix issues impacting the team and/or clients

  • Detail oriented, organized, exercise good judgement, ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize own work

  • Ability to partner and collaborate closely with both internal and external project/operational stakeholders and provide excellent communication to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders and teams

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $65,342.00 - $94,799.70 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
