The Role

InteliSecure’s Data Architect is responsible for Development, Testing, Deployment, and Support of the InteliSecure data stores. The Data Architect will collaborate with other lead members of the Application Development team to deliver data solutions that support business objectives.

Ensure all tasks performed adhere to the firm’s ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS).  This includes participation in annual information and network security training and acceptance of spot checks on an ad hoc basis to guarantee that InteliSecure is constantly improving upon the organization’s ISMS.  Each member of our team must understand the importance of the ISMS and the subsequent handling of customer data.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The Data Architect will be responsible for all aspects of design/build and lead the steady state support team for all data stores.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Data Architect will recommend solutions to meet business requirements and will be consulted on all decisions made to the data architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS/BA in a Computer Science related field.    A mixture of education and related work experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience designing and deploying database solutions.
• Wide knowledge of relation databases including; MySQL, Oracle, Postgres
• Working Knowledge of Big Data environments
• Working Knowledge of NoSQL Databases; Cassandra, Hadoop
• Document Stores; Mongo DB, Elastic
• Practical experience implementing reporting engines
• Practical experience implementing redundant data solutions

HIGHLY PREFERRED:

• Orchestration experience
• Knowledge of linux operating systems
• C++, JAVA, Python, Pearl, JS, SQL
