Position Description
Responsible for providing 24x7x365 technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field operations and NCC for facilities critical infrastructure equipment such as (AC power distribution, buildings, grounding, fire systems, generators, Auto Transfer Switch (ATS), Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS), UPS battery strings, Direct Current (DC) power plants, DC plant batteries, Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Static Transfer Switch (STS) and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, including Computer Room Air Conditioner (CRAC) units, chillers, dry coolers, condensers, pumps and building structural issues) to ensure operational integrity, improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Responsibilities
- Manage CM vendors within your regional area for callout repairs and quoted repairs to include invoicing and quoted PR submittals.
- Works with team to develop best practices, equipment standards, method of procedures equipment.
- Assists field technicians and NCC in reducing the dependency on vendor support for issues that can be solved internally.
- Participates as a subject matter expert on task forces or cross functional projects; advises departments on solutions for technical problems or barriers.
- Provides disaster recovery support for facilities and critical infrastructure equipment.
- Recommends solutions to increase network integrity and reliability through testing and evaluation.
- Assists project manager with PMI and PM schedules and evaluation of efficiency information.
- Manage the replacement of EOL, upgrades, or non-repairable assets of all critical Infrastructure
- Manage CapEx projects within your regional area to include requesting for funds
- Provides on-site preventive maintenance inspection (PMI) training and technical troubleshooting training to field technicians for critical infrastructure equipment.
- Ability to multi-task small to large scaled projects.

Qualifications
- Engineering degree or at least five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge on all critical infrastructure assets that include but not limited to AC & DC circuitry, Generators, ATS/MTS, fire suppression/detection, UPS Systems to include batteries, static switches, sync buss, etc. Able to understand a schematic diagram.
- Ability to troubleshooting any issue with field service and or vendor.
- Provide input on the ways we can save monies with call out repairs to large projects.
- Ability to multi-task large projects, manage budgetary spend, and analyze repair cost versus EOL.
- PMP certification preferred but not required.
