Zen Planner is a fast-moving technology company based in Highlands Ranch, CO.  We provide an all-in-one software for fitness businesses that enables our customer to grow their business and experience wild success. The Zen Planner Suite includes membership management, scheduling, integrated payment processing and email tools, as well as Integrated Websites.  

We are seeking an energized and talented Creative & Development Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team who are dedicated to both active lifestyles and helping small businesses flourish.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creative

• Create custom graphics to support website, email, tradeshow, advertising and social campaigns
• Ensure consistent brand standards and Zen Planner identity across all mediums
• Support Zen Planner growth through exceptional marketing collateral, online multi-format ads and web, email and print graphics (including extensive knowledge of file formats, resolution, and re-sizing of images)
• Contribute to creation of design concepts through partnership with internal UI/UX designers and outsourced resources

Development

• Regularly update the Zen Planner website, including occasional page redesigns, to ensure an engaging and informative website
• Keep organization up to date on the latest web and design trends, techniques and technologies
• Enhance Zen Planner’s testing strategy and improve the website conversion rate by supporting the development of tests that require JQuery and CSS updates 

Marketing

• Track and report on all site metrics
• Contribute to lead gen by supporing the implementation of SEM campaigns including but not limited to SEO, PPC, email and remarketing

REQUIREMENTS:                                                 

• 1-3 year’s experience with website and graphics design
• Strong design portfolio that demonstrates expertise with current graphic and illustration software, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge, Acrobat Professional, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adode Design, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media applications
• Knowledge of lead generation and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) best practices
• Familiarity with web performance and analytic tools
• Front-end development experience (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery)
• Experience with WordPress and Hubspot CRM
• Strong design portfolio showing creativity, visual skills, layout and high graphic standards
• Proven success in developing projects from concept to completion
• Artistic ability, creativity and an aptitude for learning new technology is essential
• Strong organizational, time management and written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to move quickly and respond to on-demand projects
• Willingness to accept direct feedback and constructive criticism
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience

• Experience with social media and email marketing
• Experience with testing tools such as Optimizely
• Familiarity with the Inbound Marketing strategy
• Technical understanding of marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot
• Personal passion for fitness (CrossFit, Dance, Martial Arts, Gymnastics, Yoga, Pilates and other fitness disciplines)
