Located in our Denver office, the Corporate Controller will be a key member of our growing finance organization, responsible for both domestic and international accounting activities.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.  Reporting directly to the CFO, the Corporate Controller will work cross-departmentally to improve key financial processes and will be vital to Xactly’s continued growth and success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all global accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Auditing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Finance, Operations and Revenue Recognition, Royalty Accounting and Merchandise Reconciliation
• Oversee Payroll organization
• Manage all acquisition-related accounting
• Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure integrity of financial statements & prepare/publish timely monthly financial statements
• Drive monthly and quarterly close process including presentation of results and related analyses
• Cash management and planning activities
• Manage all external audit and tax compliance
• Research and documentation of technical accounting positions
• Cost effectively managing the accounting organization by maximizing the use of technology
• Support the executive team in driving best practices across the company in corporate governance and ethical standards
• Work cross-departmentally to develop and improve key financial processes
• Spearhead audits (internal and external) as required
• Additional Controller duties as necessary

Required Skills:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree; CPA or CMA highly preferred
• 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience; 5+ years as a corporate controller
• Prior Big 4 Public Accounting experience preferred
• Experience in a high growth, SaaS environment a strong plus
• Strong GAAP knowledge, revenue recognition experience preferred
• Experience creating audited financial statements
• Self-starter, broad thinker, strategic planner, able to execute and implement strategy
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
