Finni Health is seeking a Controller to build and lead the accounting function for a rapidly growing healthcare MSO. We're revolutionizing ABA clinics by helping providers grow their businesses while delivering top-tier patient care.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for establishing a scalable accounting infrastructure in a complex, insurance-driven environment. The Controller will own the integrity of financial reporting, ensuring that revenue, AR, cash, and payroll accounting are accurate, repeatable, and fully reconciled. This role will work closely with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Finance Operations, and Executive leadership to create a reliable financial foundation as the company scales through its next stage of growth.

What You'll Own

Financial Reporting & Close

  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

  • Build and maintain a scalable ≤10-day close cadence

  • Ensure integrity of the general ledger and financial reporting

  • Prepare internal financial statements and reporting packages

Revenue Recognition & AR

  • Own ongoing execution of revenue recognition in an insurance-based environment

  • Build and maintain a monthly revenue bridge: Billing activity → Net Revenue → Cash → AR

  • Ensure RCM outputs reconcile to the GL each month

  • Own AR accounting, aging, and reserve methodology

Accounting Operations & Controls

  • Design scalable accounting processes and SOPs

  • Establish internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance

  • Identify and remediate gaps in accounting workflows

  • Support audit readiness and future diligence processes

Payroll Accounting

  • Oversee payroll accounting, accurately reconciling bi-weekly pay periods and invoicing with monthly reporting

  • Partner with Finance Operations (who owns payroll execution)

  • Ensure payroll data is accurately reflected in the GL

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner closely with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Finance Operations, and Executive leadership

  • Improve alignment between operational reporting and financial reporting

  • Help create visibility into revenue quality, collections, and AR performance


About You
  • 8-10 years of healthcare accounting experience

  • Prior Controller or Assistant Controller Experience

  • Strong technical accounting foundation in healthcare revenue recognition

  • Experience operating in high-volume, scaling environments

  • Ability to build processes from 0-1

  • Cross-border (US-CAN) accounting experience (bonus)
