General Summary:
As a Video Editor you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing videos and photos for internal and external purposes.
Video has become an invaluable part of communicating a company's messaging on online platforms, your position will play an important role in our company's success.
Core Functions:
- Regularly collaborates with marketing team
- Produces and/or edits video content for YouTube and other video platforms
- Manages the production of video content (storyboarding, shooting, editing, uploading, optimizing, and adding effects) for use on various video channels
- Edits scheduled video projects from syncing audio to video in a first assembly, to final cut
- Produces on screen still and motion graphics
- Outputs videos in various formats for distribution on company and ancillary media channels or websites
- Shoots still photos for documentation, editorial use, or other department needs.
- Works both in studio and on location, as required
- Manages and oversees all technical aspects of video recording and editing
- Works collaboratively with marketing and creative teammates
- Follows the company's brand guidelines
- Presents to senior management
- Develops an overall video brand messaging strategy
- Leverages interviews, testimonials, demos, and other storytelling styles to meet the needs of the target audience
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Experience using post-production software, including Adobe and/or Apple packages
- 3+ years of experience as video specialist or a similar role
- Some experience using video and editing equipment
- Creative thinker
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics is preferred
- Photography chops

Compensation:
Peaksware/[TrainHeroic] is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $33,568 - $55,946. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.

Work Environment:
