An Insider's view of Wowza Media Systems

What's something quirky about your company?

We use the Slack app to communicate within the office as well as with the live-streaming community in general. One of our favorite pastimes is creating custom emojis to make each other laugh, and for some good-natured teasing. The dolphin emoji, the unicorn vomiting rainbows, and infinite variations of the party parrot are a few favorites.

How does the company support your career growth?

What makes someone successful on my team, is having an entrepreneurial attitude, and not waiting to be told what to do. At Wowza, we hire talented people and expect them to tell us what we should do instead. I want people who challenge status quo, speak up against the crowd, and stand strong in their convictions.
