Role Purpose
The Sr. Video Editor will rough cut to final cut Craftsy Original Series shows across our growing craft and lifestyle categories. She or he will collaborate closely with Producers/Directors & our Art Director to ensure the edit supports series objective.
Responsibilities
- Owns editing of content from rough to final
- Perform color correction, sound mixing, and onscreen text
- Works with Producer/Director to incorporate feedback and provide creative solutions
- Peer review edits and provide feedback to other editors and AEs
Basic Qualifications
• 7+ years experience in post-production
• Expertise in Adobe CC Creative Suite
• Strong color and audio mixing abilities
• Strong creative instinct in storytelling techniques
• Demonstrated willingness to work within a business environment (e.g. ability to follow broader creative direction, adherence to deadlines, work in team vs. freelance environment)
• Extremely well organized, adaptable, and patient
• Openness to change and continuous improvement mindset
