What are some social events your company does?

A strong team and company culture have been pivotal to the success of Bounteous. We encourage fun at work through team-building activities such as organized after work events, ping pong games, out-of-town office visits for employees, 3D printing, a dog-friendly workplace, guitars in the office, and a full keg always on tap.

Bjorn

What kinds of technical challenges do you and your team face?

We are lucky to be exposed to very complex challenges. Each project is different. Bringing a design to life by thinking of every part of its functionality, accessibility, and performance or integrating between complex systems in an optimized and secure way is what we do. We take pride in the quality of our work and satisfaction in the impact it has

Gaetan

Director, Digital Experience Platforms

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

It’s all about trust and agency. We ensure people are given the space – physical, emotional, professional – to focus on their work and bring in bold, amazing ideas. We couple that with honest direct feedback so we can grow. Plus, we encourage everyone to be a part of the broader design and development communities; it’s great to share and give back!

Paul

UX Director

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

We like to work hard and play hard! Day-to-day can vary drastically depending on the project so we offer a flexible work structure to fit those needs. Our flexible work from home policy and the take-what-you-need vacation allows everyone to be as productive as possible while also allowing team members to deal with all things that life throws at you

For others, it’s our annual Hackathon, lunch-and-learns, a tech conference, or certification opportunity. Or maybe it’s simply the camaraderie during an annual 5K, a bunch of coworkers kicking back and playing games during happy hour, a competitive dodgeball tournament, or bringing a date to our annual holiday bash.
