Role Description

The Production Manager is a key member of the Marketing Center of Excellence (COE) team, responsible for managing efficient, on-time, and high-quality campaign and asset production across the global marketing organization. This role will oversee workflow, production workload management, project prioritization and trafficking, production SLAs, and project management best practices, working closely with creative, web dev, email, digital strategy, marketing operations, and campaigns teams. As the owner of Conga Marketing’s production processes, the winning candidate will be responsible for management of our project management tool as well as process development, training and enablement. This is a fast-paced role with a mix of strategic and tactical and includes supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and ownership of Conga’s marketing production processes
  • Stakeholder alignment across marketing functions, including collaboration with Corporate Marketing, Demand Generation, Portfolio Marketing, Marketing Operations, and COE.
  • Scheduling, assignment, production and on-time delivery of all production work, including copy, design, web development, and email production, as well as partnership with Marketing Operations for form creation, tracking, reporting, and automations.
  • Team leadership, management, and development for a small production team of copywriters, designers, and web developers. 
  • Manages consistent executive read-outs and cross-functional communication on production status of in-flight projects, workload forecasting, and anticipated roadblocks
  • Source, evaluate, and manage contractors and/or agencies to support production spikes
  • Key point of contact for any job-related question concerning trafficking, scheduling, hourly budgets, and production (size, specs, colors, medium being utilized, what publication, etc.).
  • Build trust and credibility with stakeholders, management peers, direct reports, and executives across the company.
  • Manage internal CSAT program for production teams with a focus on improving quarter over quarter.

Experience / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, art, business, or equivalent work experience
  • 4 – 6 years project, production and/or marketing program management experience (preferably at least some experience within an agency)
  • A deep knowledge (technical experience a big plus) of branding, web, content, design, advertising, social, and email production processes.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing project management tools (bonus for experience with Hive, our current tool)
  • Familiarity with design standards (typography, composition, scale, and color theory amongst other) and working knowledge of how those principles work together.
  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and knowledge of various platforms (desktop and mobile) is a nice to have.
  • Extremely strong time management and communication skills
  • A strong preference for collaboration over control
  • Experience effectively managing and mentoring a cross-functional production team
  • A seasoned problem-solver with analytical skills and an ability to think critically
  • Displays a top-notch work ethic (work hard, stay focused, complete tasks)

For Colorado-based roles: Minimum annual total compensation of 70,974.00 USD Annual
