The Microsoft Tech for Social Impact (TSI) Specialist plays a significant role in growing our Microsoft (MSFT) Non-Profit Revenue by managing the MSFT TSI relationship, managing MSFT non-profit product pipeline, completing TSI forecast reporting, and promoting sales enablement across the floor by effectively aligning sales plays and product marketing efforts in the non-profit partner sector. This is a dual role, where the Specialist is serving as both an external and internal “customer” of MSFT TSI.

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

Target partners (Recruit)

  • Drive net new partner recruit to transact Charity SKU’s
  • Recruit interested and qualified partners
  • Onboard partners transitioning from management or Direct CSP

Assess partner development capability (Recruit)

  • Analyze and document the propensity of potential partners using internal tools
    and processes
  • Explain MSFT profitability and opportunity relevant to Pax8

Explain profitability and opportunity (Recruit)

  • Utilize resources to demonstrate the profitability and opportunity associated
    with selling MSFT products through Indirect Provider channel
  • Communicate Indirect Provider offers to partners
  • Mobilize aligned channel partners to consume Microsoft resources and participate in MSFT programs

Onboard with Indirect Provider (Recruit)

  • Guide partners through process to sign up for Indirect Provider partner program
    as well as MPN and TSI Partner Community
  • Report on number of potential and onboarded transacting partners

Develop business plan with partners (Enable)

  • Build scalable cloud business plan utilizing MSFT templates and guidance
  • Provide reporting on partner activities and progress

Help partners address offer and pricing gaps (Enable)

  • Guide partners through offer development using pre-packaged offer/ pricing
    guidance and planning templates

Enable partner to build and drive demand (Enable)

  • Assist partners in building compelling offers that address top customer
    scenarios in a repeatable method
  • Mobilize partners to consume MSFT resources and participate in MSFT
    programs related to building demand gen, generating awareness, and standing
    out in a crowded market
  • Connect with customers through Cloud Ascent

Assist in building digital marketing & optimize sales channels (Accelerate)

  • Provide assets and encourage the building of a digital marketing plan
  • Act as “business advisor” and evangelize areas of next logical practice that are appropriate for the partner’s needs and business model
  • Act as “marketing manager” and support proposed marketing goals including the proper use of MSFT partner marketing materials and incentive funding on the right set of activities

Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities (Accelerate)

  • Build repeatable/scalable solutions
  • Ensure partners are equipped with the right tools and resources to compete
    effectively against every competitive scenario they encounter
  • Drive new workload attach through new customers and existing renewals
  • Deliver monthly forecasts for TSI to the Director of MSFT Programs

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies :

  • Proven success in selling through the indirect channel; passion for empowering partners to serve their customers
  • Knowledge of, or demonstrated ability to learn and sell SaaS products
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver presentations in live and virtual environments
  • Demonstrated ability to create a scalable business plan to drive the business, analyze results, and make
    appropriate modifications to continually improve execution
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate effective business reviews
  • Ability to engage cross-functionally to request resources and coordinate events
  • Prior experience in Sales and/or Business Development preferred
  • Have the passion for empowering our partners to assist non-profit organizations with their SaaS needs
  • Experience in Account Management preferred
  • Technical background preferred
  • Strong communications and presentation skills preferred
  • Knowledge of MSFT Non-Profit offerings preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills preferred
  • Involvement with non-profit organizations preferred

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A/B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Certification in classroom and meeting facilitation skills preferred

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $65,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
