Inspirato is seeking a Junior Copywriter to help tell the Inspirato story and bring the brand to life. The ideal candidate has strong creative writing skills, an obsession with grammar and a passion for attention to detail. This position will report a Senior Copywriter and be an integral part of the company’s creative team.

You enjoy working collaboratively with other teams to ensure communications meet business objectives. You bring enthusiasm and energy to your role every day and use it to fuel unique and original ideas. You’re as comfortable supporting brand promotions, as you are crafting email campaigns, and writing long and short form copy for the website. You’re an excellent proofreader with at least one year of experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write, edit, and proofread copy for various channels including:
  
  • Inspirato.com
  • Social media posts
  • Direct mail
  • Marketing emails
  • Blog posts
  • Brand collateral
• Produces original, clear and credible copy and is accountable for the final development of creative assets.
• Ensures output is accurate and meets or exceeds the writing objectives.
• Ensures brand guidelines and directives are embraced and adhered to in all executions.
• Executes writing requests with accuracy, producing zero errors in work (all client edits are implemented correctly, spell check was run, facts were confirmed).
• Responds to all requests and communications in a timely and thorough manner.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong written communication and creative writing skills.
• The ability to manage a portfolio of work on an aggressive schedule.
• Dedicated team player willing to pitch-in on projects outside your regular tasks.
• A passion and an attention for detail.
• Experience writing for social media is preferred.
• Project Management - Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, across multiple departments inside and outside the business, ensuring that all components of each task are properly presented, managed and reported.
• Adaptability - Adapt to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events, appreciates opportunity to adjust and adapt with growing business.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a writing intensive role.
• Fluency in AP style.
