The Challenge

Marketo, the industry leader in marketing automation and account based marketing, has one of the most sophisticated SaaS marketing & sales engines in the business. As part of Adobe, Marketo’s Go-to-Market team is responsible for aligning the company’s sales & marketing departments to build an effective & smooth buying experience for customers of different sizes and in different industries.

We are looking for an expert content developer who’s able to think strategically and execute quickly. We need someone who understands how to present Marketo to different customers throughout the buyer’s journey, and someone willing to roll up their sleeves to build and test effective, professional messaging to be used in the sales process.

You’ll be integral in the rollout of strategic sales sequences for the SDR and Sales teams around the world. Your work will have immediate, measurable impact, and you’ll help report on progress and the state of the business to senior leadership.

The ideal individual will have a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, and experience on a sales or marketing team at a B2B SaaS company. Experience with Outreach.io is a plus but not required.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design, build, and test new sales plays, including call guides, email & social sequences, and ideal touch cadences
  • Own rollout and management of sales plays in Outreach.io
  • Work with sales and business development to incorporate messaging into effective sales processes
  • Work closely with the sales team to capture feedback and future requirements
  • Partner with Segment and Product Marketing to understand our value proposition to different customers
  • Work with sales enablement to train sales and business development teams around the world on best methodologies with our sales tools
  • Optimize messaging based on open and click-through rates
  • Analyze strategic sales play efficacy and find opportunities for increased investment or improvement
  • Regularly present findings and recommendations to leadership

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is helpful but not required
  • Experience on a sales or marketing team at a B2B SaaS company
  • Experience with email tools is helpful but not required
  • Excel / Google sheets
  • Former sales or business development representative or managers encouraged

Location

Our new office is in the Denver City Center near plenty of shops and restaurants. We also have amazing views of the Rocky Mountains from our windows.
