Why this role?

As Content Strategist you'll develop and refine our business-to-business content strategy, deliver engaging and relevant content that also drives key business outcomes and build on Dice's thought leadership position in the industry. You will directly manage all client content-related activity, closely collaborating with our marketing and product teams to accelerate progress toward acquisition and retention goals with our primary audiences.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Refining and improving the customer (B2B) content strategy focused on driving sustained engagement with key audiences and high-quality leads
  • Leading the creation of content-driven experiences directly mapped to customer segments and stages of intent, including long-form report and eBook content, shorter-form B2B content, webinar presentation content and promotional content surrounding content-driven campaigns and launches
  • Delivering live and on-demand webinar presentations to external and internal audiences
  • Working with the marketing and product teams on customer segmentation and ensuring the content strategy aligns accordingly
  • Reviewing current customer content for gaps and identify low performing areas and prioritize those for improvements
  • Identifying ways, via software and tool additions and enhancements, to increase content efficiency and drive additional volume as well as higher content quality
  • Integrating with the public relations and organic social media teams to drive powerful and integrated B2B storytelling through a variety of mediums
  • Working with the SEO team to identify organic traffic opportunities and ensure best practices are always utilized
  • Working with the Customer Engagement team to ensure promotion and nurture email campaigns continue to drive strong leads, webinar registrations and other key calls-to-action
  • Partnering with the wider Sales team to implement sales enablement efforts to help members of the sales team use B2B content to drive increased lead acquisition and enhance existing client retention
  • Tracking content, webinar and channel performance, as well as working with the analytics team to deliver comprehensive analysis and key learnings to leadership and other stakeholders
  • Evangelizing the effectiveness, importance and usefulness (sales and brand value) of B2B content throughout the organization
  • Assisting the Creative Services team in creating and refining guidelines for brand voice, style, consistency, and grammar
  • Conducting research and identifying content management opportunities

For this role, we're requiring:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills
  • Exceptional content creation abilities, delivering engaging and outcome-driving content across a wide spectrum of content types, channels
  • High emotional intelligence and critical thinking ability
  • Deep understanding of the content marketing ecosystem, with hands-on experience with all major and emerging channels
  • Willingness to become an expert on technology roles, skills, trends and the wider technology job market
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Adaptability
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of positions within a company
  • Excellent presentation skills

Education, Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of content management and creation experience - ideally in a high growth digital marketing organization
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google applications
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics preferred
  • Experience with content experience platforms (i.e., Foleon) and/or content management systems (i.e., Hippo) a plus

Compensation

Base salary/pay of $60,000 – $117,000 per year, plus 10% annual bonus at 100% of plan targets tied to company and individual performance. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities and experience.
