Inboxlab is looking to hire a Content Producer to join our growing team.

Based in Denver, Colorado, Inboxlab is an incubator that builds companies revolving around email. Founded in 2017 by serial entrepreneur and angel investor, Nicholas Pardon, Inboxlab seeks to create value in new and existing companies by leveraging our core competencies around data, marketing, branding, and most importantly, the inbox.

Inboxlab presently focuses on two primary verticals: travel and gaming. Our mission-based flagship travel brand, The Discoverer, reaches 2,500,000+ subscribers with its weekly editions and the Inbox Games network currently serves 35,000,000+ game plays per month.
 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Content Producer is a contracted member of the Inboxlab team responsible for managing the production of content for a specific brand. This role focuses on creating and managing a freelance writer network, editing articles and uploading content to Ghost in preparation for publishing. The ideal candidate is a superb writer and copy editor, has experience in photo editing and has an understanding of AP style. You will work closely with the Managing Editor and Content Managers to create editorial calendars and prepare all articles for publication.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Manage the production of 50-60 articles per month for a specific brand

  • Develop and manage a network of freelance writers

  • Review and edit content to ensure that it fits within the brand guidelines and proper voice

  • Write and edit content in preparation for publication

  • Review and source visual content for article inclusions

  • Prepare content for publication within the Ghost platform

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING

  • 3+ years of experience editing & producing written content

  • 1+ year of experience managing freelancers

  • Exceptional written communication skills

  • Passion for writing and editing

  • Understanding of AP style

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at once

  • Collaboration and organizational skills

  • Strong work ethic

  • Positive attitude and desire to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment
