What we’re looking for:
Devetry is seeking to hire a Content Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This role’s primary responsibility will be to develop and execute a cross-channel content strategy. This position requires a strong communicator that takes initiative to lead the content creation process from beginning to end. We are looking for someone who is eager, self-directed, and passionate about writing to take a general concept and run. This role requires someone who is consistently looking for new ways to engage our audience through content marketing and is focused on evaluating and improving our strategy based on performance metrics. The Content Marketing Manager must have the right combination of attention to detail and big-picture thinking. There’s an opportunity for this position to refresh an existing strategy and evolve the brand voice to ensure we’re growing our audience base.
What you’ll do:
Development and distribute effective thought leadership and brand content that aligns with our business objectives to drive engagement and leads (ex. blog posts, ebooks, webinars, videos, webpages, customer success stories, capabilities decks, event needs, etc.)
Own and manage the content calendar from strategy through execution and analysis
Ensure all content is on-brand and is search engine optimized for all channels including online, social media, email, and video
Collaborate closely with internal team members and company partners to gather, develop, and design high-quality content
Develop relationships with third party publications and work with internal leadership to design thought leadership content
Own social media presence across multiple platforms, including community management, content planning, editorial calendars, and sponsored posts
Strategize, build, and optimize lead nurturing marketing automation workflows
Manage external vendor and freelance relationships to ensure timely and high-quality production of on-brand content assets
Establish process and workflow to ensure that content remains relevant to target audiences
Work with leadership to set and monitor benchmarks for measuring impact and effectiveness of content, providing optimization recommendations
Nice to haves:
Experience at a professional services company in a Content Marketing position is strongly preferred
Experience managing digital marketing initiatives including website optimization/analytics, landing page creation, paid campaigns, tracking, and reporting
Experience with WordPress websites and experience testing and optimizing website landing page experiences to drive conversion
General understanding of SEO best practices across our online presence to improve website performance
General knowledge of Google Analytics as it relates to the content strategy
Understanding of Account-Based Marketing principles
Experience with event and channel marketing
Required experience:
Degree in marketing, advertising, or equivalent work experience
B2B content marketing experience, ideally working across both brand awareness and demand generation
Experience leading creative projects from concept to launch
Desire to work in a start-up, agency, and/or other high-growth environment
Ambitious professional eager to learn and grow
Entrepreneurial mindset that thrives on building something from scratch and isn’t afraid to step out of their comfort zone to get things done
High integrity and accountability, effectively prioritizing to meet and exceed deadlines with high quality, low-error work
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with strong attention to detail
