As an Associate Photo Editor you will join a dynamic editorial team with fresh ideas and diverse perspectives. Your day-to-day will involve sourcing, editing, and reviewing images for our inspirational brands, as well as helping to hone the brand-specific look and feel from a photography perspective. You will work closely with the photography team and brand editors to ensure a cohesive and polished look for our brands.

In this role, you will...

• Source and review photos that complement written editorial content — trivia questions, articles, quizzes, emails — across multiple brands
• Edit photos to match brand guidelines
• Stay on top of email send schedules and editorial calendars to ensure deadlines are met
• Contribute to editorial brainstorms and offer up ideas on how we can improve our processes and products
• Merge visual artistry and creativity with data science to curate experiences that engage our audience, improve key metrics, and drive revenue
• Collaborate with colleagues in design, brand, product, engineering, and other functions to improve and innovate our visual style 
• Faithfully translate company mission, core values into everyday tasks and projects

Who we’re looking for…

• A keen eye for great photography and the ability to articulate what makes it powerful
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
• Must work well in a collaborative environment 
• Bachelor’s Degree in photography, art, communications, marketing, or other related fields
• Experience working with photography on a consumer-facing digital brand or vertical
• Photo editing experience, preferably within the Adobe suite
• A passion for learning, knowledge-sharing, and the optimistic potential of the internet
• Intuitive understanding of social media platforms, and keen awareness for what makes content viral (images for social, article titles, etc...)
• Ability to stay organized and tackle multiple tasks at a time
• Position will operate remotely
