IMM is looking for an entrepreneurial, self-starter Account Director (Client Experience Director) to join a stealth-mode marketing technology start-up on the rise.  Our ideal candidate thrives in an a kinetic early-stage startup environment!  

Are you ready to lead and coach a new Account Management team!   Do you have a deeply rooted passion and focus for delivering a best in class customer experience?  Then, read on!

 

A day in the life

  • Oversee and manage the onboarding of new clients 
  • Manage, mentor and coach a small account team
  • Collaborate across Media, Reporting, Creative, Marketing and Product to increase our clients' satisfaction 
  • Create and present Webinars on the benefits of our platform and digital advertising
  • Develop strong relationships and serve as the liaison between the company and clients 
  • Develop strategies and lead projects from conception to completion

 

If you meet the following requirements, we want to hear from you!

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work relevant experience
  • 7+ years’ experience in account roles at a digital-focused service agency or equivalent combo of agency and client-side experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in a startup environment highly desirable
  • 2+ years' experience managing people
  • SaaS experience highly desirable

  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and written, with people at all levels of an organization
  • Strong aptitude for technical software products
  • Superior presentation skills, including in-person and virtually
  • Exceptional analytical skills for analyzing client data 
  • Proven past experience of increasing customer retention by building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Talent for hiring, mentoring and coaching members of the team
  • Collaborative in nature 
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills under pressure as the team will be responsible for anywhere from 5-10 brands at a time
  • Advanced negotiation skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to drive change
  • Voice of customer competency

 

Not Required, but will give you an edge

  • AdTech and/or food industry experience
