Give Your HR and Office-Administration Skills a New Home. At InvitedHome.

Who doesn’t love a vacation? At InvitedHome, we take it one step further. Because we love vacation...homes. In fact, we believe that finding the right one to share with your family and friends is essential to the soul. And a rewarding, fulfilling career should be no different. If you’re methodical and thorough, if you’re agile and a quick learner, and if you’re looking for an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-built, industry-changing company  that will take your career right along with it – well – welcome home.

Who We Are

InvitedHome is the next great hospitality brand, combining the service and consistency of fine hotels with beautiful private homes in amazing destinations. We believe vacations are essential to the soul. We believe every person deserves to be treated like a human being. We believe in always staying ahead of our competition. And we believe a team of people who share those values can become the undisputed leader in vacation rentals by putting the joy back into home ownership and creating priceless memories for anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Who You Are

You have at least two years experience in the HR field and a degree in a related area (business, communications, etc.). You’re always the “organized” one in your circle of friends. You’re continually sorting out every detail of your life and constantly checking things off your to-do lists.  You secretly enjoy creating spreadsheets to coordinate the finer points of life.  Over the years, you’ve honed your organizational, administrative, and people skills, but now you’re ready to apply that expertise to something bigger. In short, you’re ready to make your mark on the world’s next great hospitality brand by administering the heck out of our HR department.

How You Can Help

With an outstanding vision and a team full of A-Players, things are constantly changing around here and, as such, you’ll need to as well.  But that’s no problem for a proactive, self-starting, multi-tasker like you. You like a good challenge and no detail escapes your attention, so you’ll do well working with our HR Team to review and upgrade our current HR and Office-Admin processes and procedures to make life easier for everyone from our CEO in Boulder to our housekeepers in Maui.

How Else?

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • You’ll report directly to the VP of HR and be responsible for helping oversee and complete a wide range of general HR and office administration activities like teammate relations, benefits administration, recruiting, and training.
  • Get ready to make your mark as you help organize and integrate multiple, geographically dispersed teams throughout Hawaii, California, Florida, Wyoming & Colorado.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for our insurance brokers, you’ll monitor all our insurance plans (health insurance, workers compensation insurance, etc.). You’ll also coordinate our PTO and 401K plans, and support payroll wherever you can.
  • Working closely with our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll assist with keeping our ATS updated, scheduling interviews, advertising job openings, benchmarking salaries, and a whole slew of other recruiting and hiring activities.
  • Training & Development: Partnering with our Talent Development Manager, you’ll help administer our performance review systems, deliver our onboarding and orientation events, gather feedback from teams and individuals, and otherwise enhance the performance of our teammates.
  • You’ll assist in delivering HR and office-admin services that go above and beyond the needs of our employees and drive overall business success.
  • You’ll take care of all the behind-the-scenes things that keep our operations flowing smoothly, like answering mail, ordering supplies, corresponding with service providers, scheduling travel for the Exec Team, and coordinating destination-specific and company-wide events.
  • Some familiarity with employment law would be a big plus, so you can help us follow all applicable laws, regulations and operating procedures while communicating with State Government offices in all our destinations.

What We Need from You

  • Being a high-growth company, you’re going to learn a lot with us and will need to have an attitude of “getting it done” that’s not limited to HR or office administration, and will include some financial, banking, party planning and general administrative tasks.
  • It goes without saying that you’ll need exceptional organizational skills, unrivaled flexibility, and a high level of attention-to-detail to succeed in this role.
  • You’re a people person, and it constantly shows in the way you eloquently communicate and work with others.
  • We love and embrace technology whenever and wherever it can make our lives easier, so the more familiarity you have with products and services like Microsoft Excel, WordPress, and Podio, the better you’ll fit our mold.
  • You’ll work mostly at a computer in our office in downtown Boulder, but you’ll also need to get around town to run errands and to move office furniture, shipping boxes, and other heavy items, so you’ll need a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • You could be asked to handle sensitive tasks, so trustworthiness and reliability need to be stalwarts of your character.

How We Can Help You

Allow us to be upfront: InvitedHome is an early stage growth company, and as such, everyone wears many hats. There’s no such thing as ‘that’s not my job’ here, and everyone pitches in to get the job done and done well. Whatever it takes. And we like it this way. If you thrive in that type of environment, we invite you to discover the joy of a career with InvitedHome. Perks include:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Generous vacation policy (“vacations are essential to the soul” applies to you, too)
  • Health, Vision, Dental, and Life insurance
  • Enjoy discounted stays at any of our properties in our ever-growing portfolio
  • Best of all: We are a passionate, well-backed company that can provide a career trajectory where the sky truly is the limit.
