Freeosk is looking for an Agile Project Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate has experience leading SCRUM rituals, driving quarterly planning, and keeping teams and leadership aligned on priorities, progress, and risks.
You'll own the rhythm of execution and communication across our engineering and product teams. This role is accountable for the clarity and quality of the plan - not direct project execution - helping teams stay focused and connected while ensuring leadership always has a clear view of what's happening and why.
We work in a distributed environment. Our office is in Chicago, but you can be located within the continental United States. There will be travel required to our Chicago office from time to time.
Key responsibilities for this role...
- Facilitate daily, sprint, and quarterly planning ceremonies that drive focus and accountability
- Maintain a clear, realistic, and up-to-date plan across teams and projects
- Communicate effectively in all directions - distilling complexity for leadership and context for teams
- Partner with engineering and product leads to identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs early
- Use metrics and visuals to track progress, surface issues, and improve predictability
- Champion continuous improvement through retrospectives and process feedback
Your skills, background and experience include...
- 3 to 6 years in agile project or program management within software or data teams
- Strong facilitation and communication skills - clear, structured, and confidentExperience coordinating multi-team planning and cross-functional dependencies
- Comfortable owning the plan, without micromanaging execution
- A balanced mindset - organized but adaptable, structured but people-first
The salary range for this Agile Project Manager position is $95,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience and skills. This range represents the minimum to maximum that Freeosk reasonably expects to pay for this position.
