TechStars' Beatty resigns, Glaros to run Boulder program again

Luke Beatty is leaving the Boulder TechStars program that he's run since November to seize an opportunity he can’t miss, and former TechStars director Nicole Glaros will return to running the boot camp’s local chapter.

Beatty, founder of Associated Content and an ex-Yahoo vice president, posted to hisTechStars blog on Friday that he’s leaving for a once-in-lifetime opportunity, which he promised to reveal later.

Beatty’s blog suggests he’ll remain a local presence, saying he plans to be heavily involved in mentoring in the tech startup scene.

Glaros ran the TechStars Boulder program for three years before leaving it to manage TechStars' New York City accelerator for the past year.

The Denver Post’s Andy Vuong first reported Beatty’s move.
