TechStars should rename itself BrewStars. The Boulder accelerator is quickly becoming the who's who of Colorado Startup Brews. In this brewer's profile, FullContact, a 2011 TechStars alumnus, is competing in this year's competition with a Tangerine IPA. FullContact helps the world by providing a global contact management platform that can be leveraged by applications and businesses to provide customer insights and contact intelligence. Alex Guest, FullContact's head of Channel Business Development, formulated a unique recipe for the occasion. Alex started brewing with his father after picking up a kit on his 23rd birthday. He instantly got the bug, so much so that he took to recipe creation for every brew going forward. Most brewers don't take on recipe formulation until they have a few brews under the belt, but not Alex - he caught the brewing bug immediately.
FullContact will be serving Alex's Tangerine IPA, better known as "That Hansel is so hop right now.” Attendees can expect to be amazed with this beer’s moderate malt backbone, floral and citrus hops, all along with a clean and refreshing finish. The tangerine comes through on the nose and the front of the palate is complimented by a balanced sweetness with a tropical-citrus aroma.
Don't expect this beer to last long, as it is going to be the prefect libation for an end of the summer evening in September.
