Those who attended the 2015 Colorado Startup Brews and the 2016 Colorado Venture Summit know to plan a visit to the BowTie table.
In 2015, BowTie pleased Colorado Startup Brews attendees with their ShipIt IPA and their Code Monkey Coconut Porter which won Honorable Mention Judges’ Choice. This June, they won the 2016 Colorado Venture Summit People’s Choice award for their Berthe Belgian Strong Blonde.
This is a competitive bunch and we’ve been promised that they are bringing their A-game to McNichols on September 9th.
The BowTie team is looking forward to serving an American Wheat created by Dave DeCecco, BowTie’s Sales Manger, and brewed at CO-Brew.
“‘Barbed Wire Wheat’, is an American Wheat infused with imperial lemongrass, and we expect it to be a genuine crowd pleaser. The flavors echo sweet biscuits with a touch of aromatic lemon grass that resembles a traditional lemon curd. Lemongrass is also known as barbed wire grass, hence the name. The smell and taste of the wort was absolutely intoxicating. We can’t wait to share it with the crowd!”
Chad Pearson, Co-founder and Chief Design Officer / Chief Marketing Officer, considers Colorado Startup Brews one of his favorite startup events in Colorado.
“We founded our startup in New Mexico two years ago, and opened our office in Denver last August. CO Startup Brews was one of our first events in the Colorado startup community, and remains one of our favorites. Getting out from behind the computer to make and share something as hands-on as beer is a fantastic opportunity to engage the community in a meaningful way.
