Speechmatics announced Denver location. The UK-based company, which launched in 2016, works to develop better speech-to-text transcription features for SaaS companies. The company plans to grow its Denver team to 20 or 30 employees by the end of 2020. [Built In Colorado]

Chrysalis Partners launched Smart City Data Directory. The data monetization company launched a searchable system that contains data assets and details on smart city initiatives across the world.  [PRNewswire]

Sierra Nevada Corp. Space Systems joined the NASA moon program. It’s the third Denver company selected out of 14 total to participate in robotics missions to the moon over the next few years. The company plans to deliver supplies by robotic spacecraft to the lunar surface. [Denver Business Journal]

Copper Labs gained $2M. Its wireless utilities solution provides real-time energy usage data to both consumers and companies. The Boulder-based startup will use the funding to grow its team and product. [ColoradoInno]

Kin + Carta acquired Spire Digital. The digital transformation business acquired Spire Digital, which is a Denver-based company that focuses on software and experience development, as well as user interface design. This will help the company grow in the Western U.S. [PRNewswire]
