Weekly refresh: Amazon’s Denver hiring spree and Skupos’ big funding

Amazon plans to hire over 2,000 people in its warehouses across the Denver area. Planning to cut its Prime shipping from two days down to one, Amazon is scaling up at its fulfillment centers, sorting centers and delivery stations, according to the Denver Business Journal. [Denver Business Journal]

Skupos raised $26 million in Series B round. The San Francisco-based data platform for convenience stores plans to use its funds to hire 120 employees in sales, customer experience and engineering, as well as to further product development, according to American Inno. [Built In Chicago]

Optiv Security and SailPoint teamed up. SailPoint’s software will be used to help Optiv’s new software platform, Optiv Identity Governance-as-a-Service, serve enterprise clients. The new combined offering will help companies protect digital identities more effectively, according to the companies. [Tech Rockies]
