Summer Bash, August 13 at 5:30 p.m.

Summer is going by quickly, but it’s not over just yet. Come and hang poolside with your sales industry peers at this week's Summer Bash. The Colorado Technology Sales Roundtable is throwing a no-agenda social featuring catering from Chef Foy. The organization is a professional group that meets periodically to discuss careers, projects, sales skills and day-to-day sales efforts.

 

Leadership Skills: Emotional Intelligence For Success, August 14 at 6 p.m.

This interactive session wants to help you step up when it comes to emotional intelligence. Leaders and aspiring leaders will learn emotional intelligence skills like self-awareness, presence and empathetic listening. BigTalker founder Dave Sloan and Total Coaching Systems founder and CEO Kendall Colman will be the speakers for the evening — and they know a thing or two about teamwork and leadership skills.

 

Opportunities In Podcasting For Women of Color, August 14 at 6:30 p.m.

Only 22 percent of podcasts are hosted by women, and this percentage gets even smaller when you look at how many are hosted by women of color. Tangia Renee — the creator of “That's What She Did” podcast — and House of Pod are coming together for a panel discussion for women of color. The discussion is for podcasters in varying stages of launch and production and will touch on building your brand, growing your business and expanding your network. After the talk, stick around to mix and mingle.
