Personal Branding Class, July 30 at 6 p.m.

What’s your personal brand? If your answer is “no idea,” then come out and learn all about what personal branding means. Learn how to master LinkedIn, upgrade your resume, pitch like a pro and network, network, network. This two-hour workshop will be taught by Bianca Laurendine, whose experience transitioning from the manufacturing industry to product marketing is sure to provide insights.

 

Web Development, UX Design, and Data Science Happy Hour and Showcase, July 31 at 5 p.m.

Calling all UX designers, data scientists and web developers: Here is your chance to connect with local up and comers. Come out and mix and mingle with the local community, become a mentor, or meet your next hire. Industry RiNo station hosts this free event.

 

Designers Confess: Anonymous Questions and Stories from Designers, July 31 at 5:45 p.m.

“Designers Confess” is an open discussion where designers can share their experiences. Before the event, attendees can submit design related questions and stories anonymously and then come out and discuss, debate and vent. This is a free-form group and nothing is off limits.

 

Denver Women in Digital August Meetup | UX + Conversion Optimization, August 1 at 5:30 p.m.

Join Denver Women in Digital for their August meetup and get inspired. All women in the digital and tech industries are welcome to attend this event. Denver Women in Digital moves past the typical networking event and aims to provide a space where women are empowered. The organization will be providing more information about membership and Emily McCammon, the creative director at Gaia Inc, will be guest speaking.

 

Galvanize 100th Web Dev Cohort Celebration With Special Guest Kyle Simpson, August 2 at 6 p.m.

Galvanize is about to kick off its 100th cohort, so let’s celebrate! Put on your best orange apparel and join the tech workforce educator for an evening of snacks, drinks and networking at the Galvanize Golden Triangle Campus. Author, speaker and JavaScript Theologian Kyle Simpson will be guest speaking. This event is free for all Galvanize students and alumni.
