DispatchHealth enlists healthcare veterans to lead sales and marketing 

DispatchHealth, which delivers on-demand, in-home healthcare through its mobile platform, made two key executive hires to its sales and marketing teams. Andrea Pearson joined the team as chief marketing officer and David Friedersdorf as senior vice president of provider solutions. The two will work to drive consumer awareness and demand, and improve partnerships with healthcare providers like hospitals, specialty practices and emergency medical services. [Press release]

Google donates $125K to K-12 computer science program, debuts Boulder campus

Yesterday, Google awarded a $125,000 grant to the nonprofit Impact on Education, helping to fund the expansion of the Boulder Valley School District’s K-12 computer science curriculum. Following the announcement, the tech giant opened its 4.3-acre Boulder campus to media tours, showing off features akin to its famous Mountain View, California campus: free cooked meals in a zero-waste cafe, a climbing gym, massage rooms, a fitness center, free Google loaner bikes, and plenty of quirky workspaces and meeting rooms. DISH Network reveals number of Sling TV subscribers for the first time in year-end financial report

DISH Network released its 2017 fourth quarter financials yesterday, reporting publicly for the first time the number of users subscribed to Sling TV. The report revealed that Sling TV currently has 2.2 million subscribers nationwide, making it the most widely used internet-based TV service in the country. Sling TV is the company's a-la-carte internet television service, which allows users to pick and choose which channels they want to pay for. [Press release]

Alteryx adds news VP of product marketing to Colorado team

This morning, data science and analytics company Alteryx announced that Greg Davoll has joined its team as vice president of product marketing. Davoll brings with him more than 25 years in software experience, having held product and marketing leadership roles at places like IBM, Sybase, BMC Software, NetIQ and Quest Software. He will lead the company's growing Colorado-based product marketing team and will oversee go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches. [Press release]
