Every week, we dig through our events calendar and hand-select a few events worth checking out. With Halloween right around the corner, there are lots of spooky and special events to put on your radar. Here’s what’s happening this week in Colorado tech.

Special New Tech Boulder Featuring the Boomtown Accelerating Teams, October 24 at 6 p.m.

Join New Tech Boulder for a special Halloween-themed meetup. Companies from the latest Boomtown Accelerator cohort will be there as they prepare for demo day, and attendees can enjoy spooky beers, sugary treats and opportunities for networking and mentoring.

Denver Founders: Startup Horror Stories, October 25 at 6 p.m.

Nothing says Halloween like a good scary story, but this time we’re not talking about ghouls and goblins. Hear from local startup founders about their horror stories and failures, and what they’ve done to overcome them. Open networking begins right at 6 p.m. and the storytelling commences at 6:30 p.m.

Startup Fuse First Annual Halloween Bash, October 26 at 6 p.m.

Spice up your networking game and come check out Startup Fuse’s first annual Halloween Bash. The event will be held at the new interactive art and entertainment space Prismajik and will feature live music from Denver startup Lymlight.
