Big week for Galvanize

It was a big week for Galvanize, the Denver-based technology learning community that offers education, workspace and networking to students, startups and established companies. Presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton paid a visit to their original campus in Denver's Golden Triangle earlier this week to announce her technology platform. The same day, they announced plans to open their first New York campus in the neighborhood of Soho. The new campus will offer workspace and events space, as well as the company's signature education and training programs for students pursuing tech careers.  [Built In Colorado]

And yesterday, Galvanize announced that military veteran students attending the web development program at their Golden Triangle campus in Denver can now use their GI benefits. Accepting GI Bill benefits has key implications for veterans and the tech workforce as a whole, as it will provide valuable job-training to veterans and fill the gap in tech worker demand. Coworking space opens in Curtis Park

A new coworking space opened in Curtis Park this week. Called Enterprise 5280, Focus Property Group opened the space at 30th and Arapahoe in hopes of attracting diverse clientele and being able to offer flexibility as companies scale. The building has plenty of Denver style, with conference rooms named after neighborhoods and an in-office kegerator. Prospective tenants can move into the space now.
