Colorado tech brought in more than $25M in April: here are the top 5 rounds
In total, Colorado tech companies raised $25 million in April. Here is a look back at the top five rounds from this month.
 

5. , $1.2 million, April 7th

Investors: High Country Venture

Bio: Covalent Data combines public and private data to form a comprehensive database for researchers, grant makers and corporations to "efficiently track trends, analyze opportunities and connect with each other."

News: In addition to the newest round of funding, the company announced they added to their leadership, with Tim Oliver as Chief Executive Officer and Will Butler as Chief Technology Officer.

 

4. , $1.4 million, April 5th

Investors: Sally Brophy, Chuck Porter, Mike Shehan and Steve Swoboda and others.

Bio: Flytedesk's technology aggregates all the advertising on college campuses and makes it easy to buy in a single platform.

News: Flytedesk added former Crispin Porter + Bogusky President Steve Erich as interim CMO in January.


3. , $2 million, April 14th

Investors: Not disclosed

Bio: The company makes enterprise-level software, primarily for the oil and gas industry, which allows companies to build apps for field workers to use.

News: The company had previously focused on selling to small businesses but recently started targeting enterprise customers.

Bio: Closetbox collects, stores and retrieves people's belongings on-demand.

Investors: Noro-Moseley Partners, Grotech Ventures, Access Venture Partners, Knollwood Investment Advisory, MergeLane, Robin Ferracone.

Bio: TapInfuence pairs social media influencers — people with thousands of Instagram followers or millions of YouTube subscribers — with brands who want influencers to feature the brand’s products in their content.
