Gusto adds $50M in new funding, valued at $1B

, formerly known as ZenPayroll, has raised another $50 million in funding. The new funding will be added to the Series B it announced in April. The company said they were only looking for $20 million, but will keep the extra money as a buffer. In total, the company has raised over $116 million, and is now valued at $1 billion. SolidFire acquired for $870 million in cash

Boulder-based announced Monday afternoon they had been acquired by their California-based competitor NetApp for $870 million. SolidFire is one of Colorado’s fastest growing tech startups, and employs around 250 people in Boulder. [Built In Colorado]

 

Lightwave Logic pulls in $2M

AppThis is going international with a Tel Aviv office

Denver-based announced the opening of their first international office in Tel Aviv. That office will be led by Bob Horesh, a former VP of Product at Playtika, who will lead the new office as its Managing Director. [AppThis Opens Office in Israel, MarketWired]
