Ibotta takes in $40M, plans a major hiring initiative and new office

The mobile-shopping app Ibotta announced on Monday they had raised $40 million in a new round of funding. The company also said they would be massively expanding their presence in downtown Denver, hiring as many as 300 new employees and moving into larger offices. [Built In Colorado]

Wayin raises $15.4M in new funding

The social media marketing company Wayin raised another $15.4 million in a new investment round. The money came from U.S. Venture Partners, Hasso Plattner Ventures, Scott McNeally and David Duffield. ReadyTalk launches a new personal productivity tool

Denver-based ReadyTalk launched their new personal productivity tool called UbiMeet. The software, which is free, is designed to save users time by making it easier to prepare for meetings and automate post-meeting deliverables. Congo.io completes a $250K seed round

The Boulder-based company Congo.io completed a $250 thousand seed round late last week, with investment from Splash Capital. The company’s software allows clients to quickly schedule appointments with an attorney. In addition to the funding round, Congo.io was also accepted as one of the 10 startups participating at IBM’s Smartcamp 2015. [Press Release]
